Pet care experience
Thanks for stopping by! I have been an animal lover since I was five and a dog owner for 25 years now. Over the years I've owned dogs, gerbils, freshwater tropical fish and hermit crabs. I have taken care of cats in the past, but never owned one due to family member allergies. Previously to joining Rover, I owned a commercial dog daycare/boarding business at a separate location. Now I care for up to 3 guest dogs at a time in my home. My home is two stories with a chain link fenced yard where I let the medium-sized dogs play as it is a large space for running. Small dogs (under 15 lbs) play in our custom designed, fenced 21 ft by 8 ft dog run which features antimicrobial PetGrass turf for a always clean, always grassy play surface! After dark, all dogs use the dog run for potty breaks as it is lit at night. The dogs have the run of the house during their stay, with the exception of the living and dining room. If staying with me overnight, I prefer the dogs to sleep in a crate until I get to know them. Once I am familiar with your dog, I will allow them to sleep in whatever room they like. Drop-in Services can be designed to you liking , including a bit of play with water refills and feeding. Please note, drop in does not include a walk for dogs. I look forward to providing loving care for your family!
Reviews
Kim is a wonderful dog sitter. She goes above and beyond to tend to their needs. She did a great jib of keeping me updated after every visit. I highly recommend her.
We boarded our two small dogs with Kim for a week and she was the perfect choice. One of our dogs is quite timid but Kim was able to coax her to socialize. Kim realty understands dogs, their moods and temperament.
Kimberly was absolutely fantastic! She took excellent care of our Bella providing love, attention, and even sending us adorable photos to keep us updated. We felt completely at ease knowing our lil' Bella was in such caring hands.
Kim is the best rover I’ve used. She has a perfect setup for watching dogs and her dog Zooey is very friendly.

My home is a traditional setup with separate rooms instead of an open floor plan. Dogs have access to all rooms except living room and dining room. I do have permanently installed, retractable gates to the kitchen and family room. This keeps the food curious out of an area where we might be prepping a meal and also allows for multiple areas during feeding time. Two important notes: 1) Due to an advancing joint condition, I no longer walk dogs during boarding time. Exercise is given in my fenced in yard. Two: I do not guarantee 100% isolation, 100% of the stay for your pup. I only accept dogs that have been socialized and can get along with other dogs for hours at a time. If your pup needs some alone time, that can be accommodated!

Before I care for your dog, I need to know: 1) Will they get along with up to 5 other dogs at a time? 2) Have they ever jumped or climbed a fence? If so, how high? 3) Do any situations cause them anxiety? Examples: Storms, loud noises, being crated 4) Do they guard their food or other toys from other dogs? 5) Have they ever bitten anyone?

Availability
I am home for a majority of the day. There are the rhythms of daily living in our house which I'm sure your dog has experienced under your care. Examples, picking up groceries, attending appointments, dropping off or picking up teenagers from activities. In general dogs are never left alone for more than 3-4 hours a day cumulatively. If you would like me to care for your pet and I need to be away a little bit longer for those dates (6-8 hrs) I will clear it with you prior to booking!
