Pet care experience
I am a biologist who has loved and cared for pets since I could stand. I grew up with pets ranging from horses and chickens to dogs, cats, and birds. I worked to show animals at the fair when I was a kid (guinea pigs and rabbits) and went on to study animals in college because I loved them so much! Growing up I also had my own pet-sitting service where I cared for dogs, cats, birds, fish, and horses when people were out of town. My goal is to understand each animal as an individual, just as I would do for their humans. In understanding the individual animals I can form a strong bond and ensure the animal has exactly what they need to thrive!

If a dog has any fears (keys, cars, cats, other dogs, etc.), if the dog gets along well with other dogs, if the dog likes to chase squirrels (or cars), if the dog has ever nipped or bitten anyone (other dogs included), what is the best way to introduce myself to the dog to make them the most comfortable. I'd also love to know treat restrictions/requests.
A typical day
I love to walk the bay trail and the Seal Point dog park is a fun place to take the pups! I love hiking at Laurelwood park and can take the dogs up the hill for some extra exercise! I love walking downtown and exploring new neighborhoods too. I'm happy to take the dogs to their favorite spots as well!

I'm currently in between jobs and so have a lot of extra time to take the pups out for walks and give them lots of love.
