Pet care experience
I am experienced with puppies, kittens and senior dogs and cats. My soulmates are my cats Hudsy and Baby Reiki Cat and puppy Tino and my dog Kushie and cats Bear, Bug Bug and Molly who have passed on. I am responsive to the needs of animals at different life stages. To make dogs in my care feel comfortable, I sing to them and engage them with a silly voice; with cats I slow blink and use a soothing voice. I can do dog basic training and am able to attend to diverse needs in the same space. I can administer oral meds and handle most animal anxiety. In addition to my love of animals I am an artist and for 10+ years I was an art teacher in NYC with large classrooms. Also, I am Queer/ LGBTQ friendly!

Kim is a fabulous cat sitter. She is caring, thoughtful, and communicative. She is a genuine lover of furry family and was welcoming of our older cat's quirks and personality. It was a pleasure getting to know her, and we look forward to hosting her again.

This is the second time I booked Kimberly to sit for my precious Persian kitty Blue and I wholeheartedly recommend her! She’s a consummate professional- courteous, kind, communicative and clearly has a way with animals. I always return home to a happy cat. Judging from the photos she sends, Blue has a great time with her too and is right at home. I’d book her again for an overnight or a check-in, anytime!

The safety, health and comfort of your animal baby is my top priority! I double check all leashes, harnesses and doors and ensure that your dog pays attention to me during walks. I am mindful of heat, cars, foxtails and glass on the ground. I will promptly communicate should anything of concern arise. Lastly, depending on the situation, I have brought my 9 month old, submissive, extremely dog-loving 40-lb puppy along on house-sits. Please let me know if this is something you might be interested in and we could possibly arrange a second meet and greet for an introduction to your pup

Please describe the temperament of your dog, if they are a leash puller, their feeding and bathroom routine and whether your furbaby needs medications. Also please share what games and toys your furbaby enjoys! *The meet and greet is a space to see if it's a good fit for both parties. If it's not a good fit, neither of us are obliged to book.
A typical day
Depending on your preference and your dog's needs I can play fetch, tug, or braingames with your dog in your home or yard or go on longer walks. I can also jog with your pup if you are interested in that. I will play soothing music during my stay as well, as I find this calms anxious pups.

Availability
Depending on length of housesit stay, I will typically spend the majority of time engaging and playing with your furbaby- but may take a short break for a jog, a coffee or to the grocery store- all to be communicated in advance. Typically I would not take another dog-walk booking or any other out-of-the-house work while with your furbaby, and will communicate and confirm with you about all this in the meet and greet. Please note that I do not accept house-sitting jobs over 3 days long.
