Pet care experience
I have always treated my dogs as they are my children. I have raised 3 Boxer boys from the time they were 8 weeks old, and am currently raising a 2-year old Boxer rescue who is my a handful of energy and kisses! Our 12-year old boxer recently crossed the rainbow bridge. We cried because of our loss, then celebrated the amazing life we had with him, as boxers life expectancy is 8-10. I love big dogs and little ones who think they are JUST as big. After 25 years in the accounting field, I want a career that is more rewarding. I know what it's like to be away from the house and fur kids all day long, and the guilt that comes with those long days. Since there are few things more rewarding than a wagging tail on a furry friend, I excited about this great opportunity with Rover! I get to meet great people, walk and care for some great puppies and everyone benefits!

Boxers have always owned my heart. I have had five of them throughout my life - one growing up and four as an adult. Their personalities are second to none, in my opinion. With that said, I can honestly say I've never met a dog I didn't like! I love big dogs, and adore little ones.
A typical day
I'm game for anything your fur kid is game for! LOVE walking, playing fetch, belly rubs (for the pup, not me. I walk at whatever pace the dog wants to walk. My 12 year old Boxer was moving quite slowly days before he died so our walks were slow and short. My 2 year old Boxer likes to walk super fast, but when it's too hot -he can go from 100 to zero in seconds! And by zero I mean - he just lays down and takes a rest until he's ready to roll again!
