Pet care experience
My first dog was a Golden Retriever, and I was hooked! I wanted a career working with dogs and was a dog groomer at a boarding facility for 20 years, working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personality types. Several of my grooming clients also boarded in my home. Personally, I’ve raised puppies and adopted seniors, so have experience with training and administering medications.

Kimberly was incredible with my two pups. Communicated extremely well (sent lots of videos and pics). They will definitely be visiting Kimberly’s home again whenever we need to leave them for travel. huck was also a super star for playing with them so well!
She was very sweet and loving and provided pictures of videos of my puppies while in her care.
Kim is everything I was looking for pet care. Her communication is top notch and she is so accommodating! No concerns whatsoever with leaving my 12 year old doggie with her!!! Remi got along with Kim like she had known her for her entire life!!!!
Kimberly did amazing. She was accommodating and sent multiple updates with pictures throughout Bentleys stay. I highly recommend Kimberly and will be book with her again in the future.

I want your dog to feel at home in my home! I’m happy to send you pictures during the day, or FaceTime you. I can administer meds, and will adhere to their own feeding/walking schedule. Because I work from home, your dog will have constant companionship. I have a ten pound Boston Terrier who loves playing with other dogs, but I’m in a three bedroom house, so there’s plenty of space if anyone needs time apart. My dog stays in my office with me when I’m working, and your dog can too! If your fur baby does not need constant supervision they would be free to roam around the house. I also have two crates if needed. My fenced yard is great for potty breaks, and I can also do leash walks, either with my dog or only yours if preferred.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I need to attend to, or keep an eye on. I always try to keep my Canine guests on the schedule as close to the one that they are used to as possible.
A typical day
I have several cozy beds in my office for the dogs to hang out on while I’m working, but I take several breaks during the day to take my guests outside, for pee breaks, and to play fetch, chase, or tug. I can also take them for leash walks around the neighborhood if that’s how they prefer to exercise, or to a couple of nearby parks that have nature trails. I also have a few “hide and seek” games that my dog loves—where a treat is hidden in a compartment and the dog has to problem solve to remove it. Whatever the dog’s activity level, I can accommodate!

I’ve started a second career and now work from home. My office has three dog beds, and my little dog is waiting for a friend to come over! My yard is small, but fenced, and I can take the furry friends out as often as they need to go. If your dog prefers a walk-about, I can accommodate that as well.
