Pet care experience
I have been working as a foster parent for a local dog rescue for several years. This means that we have had dogs in and out of our home from many different backgrounds. My family is used to working with dogs from troubled backgrounds, litters of puppies, shy and scared dogs, and everything in between. It is my job to make dogs feel comfortable and safe during their time with me and I can confidently say that I have a very high success rate. We spend time training puppies that come through our house to sit and other basic manners. We own 3 dogs of our own who are all very accustomed to new dogs coming to spend time at our house. There will always be a friend for your dog to play with, whether it is one of my dogs, one of the foster dogs staying here, or one of my two daughters (4 and 9) who adore dogs!!!

We didn’t think we’d ever use Rover again after a particularly bad experience with one boarder. However, we were in a bind for Christmas, and decided to try again - we are so glad we did!! Our sweet Hershey stayed with Kimberly and her family over Christmas. They were awesome, and Hershey loved her stay with them! That was so evident by all the pictures and even a video Kimberly sent us! Kimberly understood our apprehension as we had confided in her what happened with the last boarder. She was amazing about giving us updates on how Hershey was doing, even the honest updates when Hershey may have been a little homesick, but was doing great otherwise! We are so thankful and we are certain that we have found Hershey’s bonus family for any time we need to leave town!
Kimberly and her family are the best. I loved all the pictures and videos provided during my dogs stay. He was able to play and now he is puckered out. I definitely will be back.
Kimberly was awesome! She was very communicative and loved well on our pup. He got plenty of exercise and play time. She would send us several pictures and videos a day of our boys adventures. Kimberly is so sweet and her love for dogs is evident. Your puppy will be in great care, would highly highly recommend her!
Kimberly is fabulous! We booked a stay for our poodle mix beginning last Thursday and ending Sunday while we moved and I cannot say enough about Kimberly and her sweet family! She sent several pictures of our boy with his new friends (her personal dogs + her fosters) and I don't think he missed us at all. He was able to take all of his favorite things to make his stay comfortable and as close to home as possible. I was able to better focus on the task at hand knowing he was well taken care of. Cannot wait to book with her again!

A typical day
We are always fostering rescue dogs and puppies, so there is always a friend around for your dog to play with. We play soccer and fetch and our 2 little girls love running around the yard with all of the dogs! Dogs are part of our family, so they will be with us during all of the normal day to day things as well!

Availability
I work from home and homeschool my children, so we spend a majority of our time at home. When we do need to go out for errands, we have crates of all different sizes to keep dogs safe while we are not home. We wake up early each morning to let dogs out and care for the foster puppies we have at the moment, and each night we make sure everyone has time to go outside before bed. For the most part, dogs are just part of our life and are loose to roam the house and can rest and play where ever they feel most happy, which is most often on the floor of my kitchen while I cook!
