Welcome to the Bark Side!!
Pet care experience
I am a life long pet and animal lover. I have approximately 35 years of guardianship experience with multiple dogs & cats and a rabbit. I grew up in the country about 2 hours south of NWA with a couple of cats, a pair of Beagles, and a Great Dane that split his time between his home down the road and ours. I have trained therapy dogs including my own two elderly dogs as well as taken my two dogs through several obedience classes. They are now living their best lives at home where they stroll the neighborhood daily (weather permitting). I would love to stroll and/or snuggle with your furry friends as well. I have recently taken care of neighbors dogs big and small; walking, feeding, administering medications, and playing with them.
Reviews
I highly recommend Kim!! She was great with our skittish Dane and aging terrier, very patient and calm in her interactions with them. Very dependable and great communication.
I met Kimber about 6 months ago. She is outstanding with my dog and I instantly felt comfortable. Her knowledge of dog behavior made me feel at ease with allowing her in my home and walking my dog. Kimber is punctual and a great communicator. She has good suggestions and ideas to help care for my dog. As a symptom of separation anxiety, my dog pees on the sofa. Kimber suggested the use of a pee belt to preserve the integrity of my furniture. Two thumbs up for Kimber!!

Safety, trust & environment
Although all pets needs are different, they all need to feel safe and loved. I try to be cognizant of your pet's behaviors - anxious, pent up energy, tired, etc. - and meet those behaviors with the appropriate response or activity. Just as I do with my own pets, I would love to spoil your pet with their favorite treats, activities, and mental stimulation/engagement.
Information Kimber M. would like to know about your pet
The more information I know about your pet the better I can tend to their needs. Their temperament, behavior issues, special needs, preferences related to their care, favorite toys and/or treats, games and activities as well as any verbal/visual commands your pet is familiar with will be helpful in caring for them in your absence.
A typical day
Just as my pets have different needs, so will yours. I have one who likes to go on walks, snuggle and nap. The other is constantly busy following his nose into everything. Once the relationship with your pet is established, they will set the tone for the visit. If they are ready for action, we can go on 'sniff'-peditions (aka walks) and check all the 'message posts'. If they are nose driven, we can seek out hidden toys, treats, or both in or outside the home. We can play fetch or run around in the yard or gently trot around the house. I will be glad to engage with them in their favorite game or activity.
