Pet care experience
Hello! We are Kimmy and Ryland. We are a couple and new grads that love animals! We work together as a couple to provide more flexible options for you. You get two sitters for the price of one! Kimmy: During the Santa Cruz fires, I was entrusted with over 20+ pets. I volunteered my house as a sanctuary for evacuees' pets, caring for spiders, snakes, hamsters, cats, and dogs. I have experience with seniors, new-borns, "aggressive" breeds, and small ankle biters ( :) ). Ryland: I have taken care of several animals throughout their entire lifespan from infant to old age. My own cat is 19 years old and still going strong, and my dog is 12 and my best friend! Pets are special, and I have been lucky enough to experience them grow old and had the chance to care for them through all stages of their life. I will treat your loved one with the same dignity and respect I would treat my own, and give them the care they so deserve.

Kim and Ryland were wonderful pet sitters and stayed in our home for a full week. They communicated very well and sent multiple pics of all my pets every day! We appreciated their professionalism and plan to use them again!

Kimmy: I understand boundaries above all. I don't take it personally when a dog needs space or when they want fewer pets. I always ask before petting a dog and am respectful. This can also be applied to people and their belongings as well. I ask before moving the backpacks that are on top of my jacket, I knock before entering every room and I keep my hands to myself. Ryland: Respecting and providing a nurturing and trusting environment is my upmost priority. Our little pets require the exact same treatment as you would any child or loved one! I view pets the same as I would view a child, they depend on us for food and shelter and so that is our and my responsibility:)

Kimmy: Let me know what medication your dog needs ahead of time so I can best prepare for you. If you can also let me know what makes your puppy happy, that would be great! Ryland: Let me know if there is any special needs or requirements for your pet and I will be happy to provide. Above all I want your pet safe and happy while their owner is away.
A typical day
Kimmy: I can take them swimming, and walking, and with the proper equipment I can train them to jump through a hoop! I also enjoy brushing and grooming dogs. Ryland: I will give them lots of scratches and pets, take them on walks to give them some fun out in the world, and maybe even give a treat or two :)

Availability
Kimmy: I start my day off at 4 am at my job till noon. My work is very flexible and I don't work every day. From here I don't do much but swim and spend time with my dog. I have nearly full availability to take on the responsibility of taking care of your pet! Ryland: I hold a very flexible main source of income, so pet care fits easily and happily into my routine! Most of the time I am spending at home is caring for my own dog, and I would love to fill my free time caring for others little loved ones.
