I've cared for dogs for most of my life and I've always felt a strong connection between the dogs I meet and myself. This has led me to become very involved with pet rescues and the pursuit of making my life dog-centric. While living on the Oregon Coast, I was a certified Small Animal Massage Practitioner and professional Pet Sitter for several years. I took a break from that, and now that I'm in Wisconsin, I'm looking to take up pet sitting again. I've frequently watched my friend's pets, and when I lived in Portland I was a foster home for dogs in a local rescue. Both fostering and being a certified pet massage practitioner (I am certified in both Maintenance massage and Rehabilitation massage practices) have given me experience in dog behavior and care. From hand raising puppies from a day old, to caring for specially able pets, to administering medication and caring for senior dogs through the end of their lives - I'm comfortable with a lot! I currently have one pug and some fancy goldfish. In the past, I've owned or cared for reptiles, fish, small mammals, birds, cats and dogs of all sizes. When I watch your pets I like to spend as much time with them as possible. Having their owners leave can cause enough anxiety for them, so I try to limit the time they'll spend alone. I am very responsive to messages and texts and like to send you photo updates throughout your pet's stay.
