Pet care experience
Experience handling small dog packs for nearly 30 years. Your dog is treated like family with affection and attention in my comfortable home with secure fenced yard. Since April 2022 I have hosted approx. 300 dogs, and have over 60 repeat clients. Occasionally will approve larger dogs if well trained, submissive to other dogs and non barker. Set up a meet and greet IF YOU HAVE RULED OUT FRIENDS AND FAMILY ALREADY. I am also a portrait photographer, and you may see the best photos ever taken of your dog during their stay. I send photos and videos of their activities daily. I will have other dogs here, frequently they make friends. I am here full time and supervise everything, nobody gets bullied. We spend a lot of time in the yard throwing balls encouraging activity. We are up for first potty at 5:30 am- but my doors open for drop offs at 8 am. Last pick up is 8:30 pm. I have quiet hours for my neighbors so they don’t complain. If your travel involves early departure, please request booking start for the day before. I look forward to meeting you!
Reviews
Kim was great! I was nervous at first leaving my puppy Chester at a new place, but Kim sent updates and pictures often (Her pictures of Chester were very aesthetic!) Chester had a lot fun in her house and her backyard. I would definitely trust Kim again with my dog.
Always reliable and we never had to worry about Doll-E. Thank you!
Kim was great! We needed to find someone last minute to watch our dog Luna and Kim got back to us quickly. This was the first time we have left Luna overnight with someone she didn't know so I was a bit nervous. Kim sent us many updates right away to let us know that Luna was having a great time with the other dogs and showed us video and pictures of her running around having a great time. My nerves were settled! Kim was very responsive throughout the day with updates. Would definitely recommend.
My Prada stayed a week with Kim who is very friendly and patient. Prada at night whined and howled but was able to get comfortable and pretty much relaxed. She got along with Kim’s dogs. Kim provided daily updates with pics and videos of Prada. I’m forever grateful for her taking care of Prada!

I have a fenced back yard with double fence to the gate, and my kitchen and family room is separated by gate from the rest of the house. I also have a smaller gated area at the patio door which helps control excited eating during feeding time by separating dogs. The dogs have supervised run of the kitchen and family room and backyard, and my cats do not come into the dog area (closed off by doors-kitchen/family room) they have the rest of the house. There is a pool in my backyard which is currently empty while I wait on repair. It has gates around the perimeter. There is a grassy runway around the side and back of the yard to play chase and ball. The fence is reinforced with rabbit fencing to prevent escape. Gates are closed at all times. Dogs are fed spaced far enough apart to prevent resource guarding and speed eating in order to steal their neighbor's food. Fresh water is available in multiple locations at all times. In person meet and greet is requested to confirm a booking. About 15 minutes for introductions to see how the dog is going to respond to my dogs. This is only needed for the first meeting, and allows you see where your pet will be vacationing with Auntie Kim. I do this full time *** Damaged property policy- On occasion some thing have been damaged or destroyed by chewing- area rugs, dog beds, irrigation drip lines. If I notify you of such things, it is appreciated if effort is made to replace them either with an actual item or monetary compensation. Drip line damages will cost me more than your dog's entire stay most likely. A dog bed can be replaced more easily, doesn't have to be new, but in good condition. A recent chewer put holes in 3 of my dog beds and the owner had no response. Frequent dog bed replacement is not in my budget.

Information Kim T. would like to know about your pet
I'll need to know if your dog has any needs to be aware of, allergies, medications, behaviors or triggers that I should know. If your male dog is known to mark, please provide belly wrap diapers for indoors. I will be putting a diaper on any dog that is urinating in the house. Please provide a screen shot of current vaccination record. I recommend flea prevention to everyone. I do my best but I cannot guarantee that another guest does not have fleas- so getting on prevention will help avoid that.
A typical day
We have a hiking trail near my house that leads to a sports field we can circle and return. I have a kiddie pool with balls. When it’s hot I fill it with water for splash play. Your dog will return home cleaner than when they arrived if they get dirty during their stay I will bathe them free of charge.

Availability
I'm home full time, and used to waking around 5:30 am to let the dogs out. The dogs are let out to potty at least every other hour, fresh water is available all the time and changed every other hour. Breakfast is between 7 and 9 and dinner is around 4 pm. Bedtime preparations begin around 9 and they get settled for the night by 10 pm. Evening pickups are limited to 8:30 pm out of consideration to my neighbors. When a dog leaves, the others bark like crazy. I am trying to preserve my relationship with my neighbors and not get reported to my HOA...
