Kim's Critter Care!
Pet care experience
Since I was 5 years old I've worked with animals, it started out as farm work - horses, chickens, goats, cats and dogs. Now I focus mostly on household pets. I spent the last 6 years in Denver CO, working with Cassies Canine Care walking and sitting. I just moved back to the area and realized how much I miss it, and voila, here I am!
Reviews
We recently had the pleasure of having Kim take care of our two dogs, Onyx and Goose, and we were thoroughly impressed with her! She did an outstanding job, particularly with our anxious dog, Goose. Kim's genuine love for dogs was evident from the start. She took the time to understand their unique needs and personalities. Goose, in particular, can be nervous in new situations, but Kim's patience and understanding helped him relax and feel at ease. Kim was also attentive to Onyx's needs, keeping her active with fetch and time outside in the backyard throughout the day. Both dogs had a great time with her. Communication with Kim was excellent. She regularly provided updates and pictures, giving us peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend Kim as a reliable and caring dog sitter.
I have seen how Kim is with her own furry friends Zephyr a two year old German Shephard husky mix and Lucy a 10 year old tabby. She has the energy to keep up with Zephyr but also has worked with him so he is well behaved and listens well. She has worked with Lucy also who is a sweet and loving. She is very attuned to what is going on with her animals and knows what they need. .

I primarily come to your home for walking and sitting. Pets feel much less stressed if they can stay in their home if possible, and this is also a key preventative measure for accidents in your absence! As a sitter I follow the structure of your pets average day as closely as possible, and send 2 text updates per day! As a walker I follow your pets average structure as well, and send an update at your services check out. Everyone needs something unique to them, their pet, and home! I learn directly from you what those unique needs are, and make everything in your absence as smooth as possible.
Information Kim S. would like to know about your pet
Please inform me of any quirks your dog may have, resource guarding like aggression around food, toys, crates, ect... How they react around strangers, people in passing, and unfamiliar animals. Any medications they need, allergies, food sensitivities are all important as well in order to take the best care of your animal!
A typical day
A typical day of sitting looks like... morning snuggles, potty breaks, and breakfast! I love to go for nearby hikes, and walks every day. If I work I typically am gone for 4 or 5 hours max, and when I arrive back home to the critters, its more snuggles and adventure for us before winding down for the night and having some dinner! I'm an active person, but can of course take on the role of couch potato if that's what your critter prefers.

I work half days during the week as a massage therapist, something I've actively practiced since 2013. Pet care is my other job. It's great to have time every day to earn money doing something I love like caring for and bonding with your critters.
