Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and my partner and I currently have two young playful cats and an Australian Shepherd. I genuinely love animals and have a real passion for caring for them. I am currently in a Ph.D. program at NCSU, so I largely have weekend and evening availability. I have lots of experience caring for animals of all shapes and sizes, and with three of my own I know what a special place they hold in the family and in your heart. I’m very responsible, highly organized, and extremely patient, and I will ensure that your pet is in safe caring hands while you are away. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend!

My overall strategy with pet care and animals is to let the pet lead the interaction. I try to tailor my care to the needs of the pet, if you’ve got a bouncy energetic dog that would love to play fetch for hours, great! If you’ve got a couch potato cat that just wants to hangout, that’s great too! Either way I’ll make sure they’re well taken care of and happy and healthy when you return.

A typical day
I have an Aussie myself, so I’ve learned a lot of great ways to stimulate your pup physically and mentally. We can go on walks, hike, play fetch, training games, or just hang out on the couch. Whatever meets the needs of your and your pup.

I’m a full time graduate student, so weekends and evenings generally work best for me. However if you’re flexible with timings I can work my schedule around the different care needs of your pet.
