Pet care experience
Dogs truly are my lifestyle; dog safety is always #1 priority! I have experience with both household pets and working-line high activity dogs of all ages. I love animals and am confident to give dogs prescribed medications and perform special wound care. I participate at a professional level with working line Siberian Huskies; I am never eager to leave the care of my kennel and house dogs in someone else’s hands, so I understand how important it is for you to have someone you trust to maintain the level of care & affection for your pet. Dogs thrive on routine and schedules; I will do my best to make your canine family member comfortable and happy while you are away. I look forward to meeting your pet.

Kim is one of my mentors in the dog sports world, and has been blessed with this quiet, easy energy that dogs respond to immediately with tail wags and wiggles. She is more than competent with training and behavioral issues, and can handle the largest dogs with confidence, and her positive reenforcement of good behaviors are always at the ready. I KNOW how careful you all are in choosing someone to watch over and care for your beloved pet. I can think of MAYBE 3 people, and she is one of those three. I trust her implicitly with my own dogs for all of their needs and wants, and know she would treat them as preciously as I do. That IS the very finest recommendation I can give a person, is if I would allow them to care for my dogs, and I would without hesitation!!

All dogs are individually unique and have their own personalities. Any information you’d like to share about your pet is appreciated. Does your dog have a favorite acitivity? What is your dog’s normal routine? Does your dog get along well with other pets? Does your dog have any insecurities or fears (thunderstorms or loud noises, etc)? Does your dog have any dislikes (example: being touched on the back or feet, etc)? Separation anxieties? Do you feed once a day or twice a day? Are there any unusual feeding habits or diet? What is your dog’s bathroom habits/schedule?
A typical day
Our property has a wooded 2 acre fenced in exercise yard as well as wooded walking trails. If your dog enjoys playing, there will be plenty of playtime... And if your dog enjoys lounging with lots of reassuring petting, he will be accommodated. Guest dogs are always leashed when outside but are allowed to free run within the compounds of the exercise yard. We do have a kennel of working line Siberian Huskies. Typically your dog will not be interacting with the dogs in the kennel but they are on the property.
