Hey! My name is Kim, I'm 22, I have small part time job and I'm slowly branching out to make a living by caring for and being around animals! I grew up with cats, but I've always magnetically loved dogs. I jumped at every chance I could get to petsit for my friends and neighbors because I wanted to be with animals so badly and we weren't allowed to have anything but cats. I now have a 1yr old lab/pit mix named Luna that I adopted from the shelter when she was 2 months old and I love her so very much! My knowledge and experience in training and behavioral issues is pretty deep because she needed a lot of work when she came to us, and I was raising her to be an emotional support animal for myself. I now have the paperwork from my doctor and she has been such a blessing in my life! I offer a lot of pet services because I do have lot of free time on my hands. I have a super flexible schedule so I can take on last-minute bookings and services with no problem. I know how it feels to need someone to watch your dog last minute but you worry if they will be in good hands, if the person really has the experience needed, will they be lonely being boarded in a kennel at a facility? How will my baby be treated? When I am caring for your fur baby these are questions you dont have to ask or worry about, because I loves dogs with all of my heart. I only take multiple dogs if they are from the same household, for safety and quality assurance. By not having several dogs at one time I can insure that your pup will get the care and focus that they need to feel comfortable and safe while they are away from you. I do board dogs in my home overnight, as well as have dogs in my home for doggy day care. I do not take dogs from different households at the same time for overnight boarding, but I will consider for doggy day care. I am home most of the time. I work very small 4 hour shifts at my part time job and I work very close to home. Dogs coming to my home MUST play well with other dogs. My girl will be home and she DOES play well with other dogs, and she is very submissive. She does not do well with small dogs so I am unable to have those in my home. When I am home we will either be outside in my fenced in 1.5 acre backyard playing, going for a walk down my quiet street, working on training inside, or snuggling in my bed watching netflix. When I am not home my dog will be in her kennel in my bedroom. If you bring a kennel I will kennel your dog on request, otherwise they may be open in my house seperate from my dog as she is a chewer. This separation is for safety as well. I have a membership to Dogwood Dog Park and I would love to take my pup and your pup there but that is an additional $10 to cover admission for your dog and for me to give them a bath as they will be covered in dirt when we are done. I am available on a last minute notice basis and a scheduled basis to come to your home to do regular walks, spend time in the home with your dog, and to housesit and dogsit overnight. Any sevice done in your home my dog will not come with me unless requested. I can take your dog to the dog park by themselves as well. I'm not opposed to traveling far from my side of town but I may ask for a higher rate if needed.
