Upstate Furry-face Vacay!
Pet care experience
You can see in my profile photos the vast experience with a range of happy dogs. The love and care I take with each and every one of them is kindly written by their happy owners. I took a break from Rover after my living situation changed while in Williamsburg and now that we relocated our primary residence to upstate I feel it's the right time and place to continue caring for these lovable canines. Especially after my Bentley went to doggie heaven last year. He is mentioned several times in the reviews and his cute face in most of the pictures. He was the best sidekick a girl could ever ask for, I miss him so much, everyday. I know how hard it is to leave your furry kid behind when you travel. That is the main reason I signed up to host doggies. I want to provide the service I would look for, someone I can trust, who is dependable, patient, and just loves to hang out with dogs. I will report daily what your furry kid is up to with lots of pictures, videos and funny updates to you while you are away. I have so much love to give, I am definitely a dog mom fo life. I would have a little posse of them around at all times if I could. Maybe in the future- but for now I hope to meet lots of furry friends through Rover!
Reviews
Lovely host. Super responsive and attentive ... and judging from the photos and funny videos she sent, it seemed like Ramses really enjoyed his time with Kim and Bentley!
Kim was the best host anyone could ask for their pup! She took incredible care of our darling Scarlett. We were a bit anxious in the beginning since we needed to leave Scarlett with Kim for three weeks while we got married and honeymooned and we had never left Scarlett for that long. Well Kim took care of all our worries as she updated us everyday, sometimes several times during the day with pictures and info regarding our pup and hers. Bentley is a great dog that gets along with everyone. We truly loved having Kim and Bentley take care of our girl and would gladly do it in a heartbeat.
Kim is truly the best -- always quick to respond; flexible; and sends the best photos. Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel loves staying with her!
Kim was a fantastic host for our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She provided us with regular updates on our little girl, and was always quick with a response. We would highly recommend her.

Located in the Catskills, we are a tucked away on a quiet lot with a big yard and loads of hiking trails. The nearest 'big city' to us is Margaretville, and a local vet 6 miles away. I work from home so your pup will have company all day.

Information Kim K. would like to know about your pet
I like to meet with you and your fur-kid in person before any daycare service, but not required. This just helps to ensure we are a great fit. A short and sweet meet n greet is all it takes. Your dog must be on flea and tick medication, they run rampant around here. And nobody wants lyme disease. Make sure you pup is up to date! A consistent schedule for dogs is super important for their best behavior and no accidents. Please let me know their complete care details when they are at home. When do they like to go out? Do they poop strike when it rains? Are long walks their thing or do they prefer cuddle time? AND if you use pee pads let me know! This is basically training your dog to potty inside your house, if I know this prior to their stay we will have a lot less accidents.
A typical day
I am an advocate of all positive reinforcement dog training. A fan of Cesar Milan and his methods of energy and assertive calmness. I am always on the lookout to find new toys and doggie puzzles to keep pups entertained and challenged. If you have any recommendations please pass them on! I like to give healthy treats like carrots and apples in addition to an occasional bully stick.
