Pet care experience
A client should feel comfortable choosing me to care for their dog because I have been a dog owner myself for over five years, along with caring for dogs on the side for friends and family for 10 years. I also spent time volunteering at a shelter walking dogs, which is where I ended up fostering and adopting my dog! I think dogs are a gift to humans and I love being around them, caring for them and training them. I am patient, kind and loving to each dog I encounter and it brings a genuine smile to my face when I'm around them.

Kim kept great care of my little fur baby while I was away. She kept me updated with plenty of pictures of their hikes, walks, and while around the house. She also worked very well with me when I was arriving later than planned. Great home away from home!

I would like to know if the dog has any aggression issues toward people or other dogs, along with anything else I might need to know in order to keep myself and your dog safe. Does your dog dislike any specific noises or objects? How often does he/she need potty breaks? Any health issues I should know about? How do you handle bad behavior/good behavior? What is their behavior on walks? What should I do in case of a medical emergency? What should I do if I need to leave your pet alone for any reason?
A typical day
While staying with me, a dog will go on many exciting adventures! While a nice stroll around the neighborhood is relaxing, I prefer to frequent the many parks and trails around Fort Collins. A few of my favorites include City Park, Spring Canyon Park, the Poudre Trail and Spring Creek Trail. On a cooler day, we might hike up around Horsetooth or lounge under a large tree in a park.
