Pet care experience
Dogs and cats have been at the center of my life going back to early childhood. I love nothing better than hitting the trails of Sanitas early in the morning with a dog or snuggling with a cat. You can rely on me to treat your animal friends with love, care, and respect.

100% recommend!
Kim was wonderful! She clearly cares about animals. She spent time with and took great care of our cat while we were gone
This was our second time booking Kim to petsit our cat Mora and like the first time, she was communicative, very reliable, and took great care of our kitty.
Kim is so lovely. My dog loves her and communication has been awesome. But what impressed me the most was when my girlfriend got sick and we had to cancel last minute. she wasn’t just flexible, she insisted on refunding the cost of the walk, even though I’d offered to still pay her. Much appreciated.

SAFETY, TRUST & ENVIRONMENT DOG WALKING You can trust that when your pooch is on a walk with me, I'll do everything possible to keep them safe, ensure they have fun and get the exercise they need. I am always attentive to surroundings and potential tough interactions with other dogs, people, squirrels, etc. I will not take your dogs off leash even if they are voice and site tagged (this is negotiable after a month of regular walks and I get a chance to know your dog well). This is for their safety. DROP-IN VISITS When you're out of town or at work you won't have to worry about your animal friend. I'll make sure your cat or dog is loved and well cared for. I'll follow your directions on water and food and do everything possible to ensure that your friend doesn't escape or get locked into a room. We'll spend our time together playing or just hanging out. Whatever your cat(s) or dog(s) want to do.
Information Kim K. would like to know about your pet
DOG WALKING Please let me know anything special about your dog. For example, my dog (a yellow lab) has a strong prey drive. While at nine years old he no longer really cares about squirrels or bunnies, he despises cats. And, while he loves other dogs, sometimes he thinks it's great fun to jump on top of them, which isn't allowed. So, is your dog shy around other dogs? Reactive? Love/hate cats. Get skittish around young children. Ball obsessed. Please let me know. It will make our walks together so much more enjoyable and safe for both of us. CAT SITTING When I'm taking care of your cat, I need to know if she loves to play or is more of a marshmallow who wants snuggles? Is she wary of strangers and likely to hide? If so, is there anything special I can do to help her warm up beyond sitting patiently or offering a loved snack? Anything else you can tell me about her that will make our visits more fun and enjoyable for her?
A typical day
A TYPICAL DAY DOG WALKING I love to hike on trails where there's lots of fun stuff to sniff. I am just as happy to walk your dog on the sidewalks around your neighborhood. Places that I enjoy visiting with dogs are Sanitas, Wonderland Lake, and Growing Gardens. DOGGY DAYCARE We'll build the day around the needs of your dog. If you have a super active pup, we'll take them on Sanitas for a romp (early in the day in the summer) with our yellow lab. The trails are a short walk from our home where we have a large back yard. We might hang out in the backyard after that or lounge in our air conditioned house (on hot days). We offer outside breaks as often as your dog needs to go outside. We love to play fetch with ball crazy dogs. If your pup is on the mellow side, we'll again go for a walk, but stick to the sidewalks or the lower part of Sanitas (early morning in summer) and then hang around the house (both inside and outside). CAT SITTING I'll stop by and take care of your kitty. I'll follow your feeding instructions, take care of the litter box and then spend the majority of our time together playing with your cat or just sitting with them if they're a lap cat.
