Our day starts with a long walk around the neighborhood and some playtime in our fenced yard. Then our girls usually hit the couch or bed for some nap time and Kate (the Brittany) usually follows us from room to room sleeping while we work. Afternoon and evenings are usually hanging out in the screened in porch or playing ball in the yard, or maybe a quick walk if needed. If we need to leave for a bit, the pups get the couch, but we aren't usually gone long.

We have a large, fenced yard with a doggy door to our screened in porch. Our dogs enjoy outside time but mostly when we are out there with them. They aren't usually out alone for too long but please NOTE, our fence is only 4 foot tall so if your pup is a "jumper" or escape artist, we won't be able to care for them. We have a two-story house, but the pups mostly stay downstairs on the main floor with us. We allow them on the furniture, and they love the couch. Dogs are fed in different rooms when necessary.

We require a meet and greet prior to your stay so that you can make sure we are a good fit for your dog and vice versa. All dogs must be current on their vaccinations and be under flea and tick treatment. Please be prepared to show records if asked. We also need to know how your dog gets along with other dogs and people, feeding and sleeping routines, medical issues and general overall concerns we should know about to best make their stay a great one!
A typical day
We love playing with our pups and doing some fun tricks with them to keep them physically and mentally challenged. Our neighborhood is also great for short or long walks.

Pet care experience
We have had many dogs during our 20 years together and if we could rescue them all, we would! After a recent move to the area with our two pups we realized the need for trusting, in home dog sitters for all types of dogs. Our girls have some separation anxiety, so we understand the dilemma of finding the right fit for our furry loved ones. Our current furry residents include Kate the Brittany Spaniel who is a tri-paw and Raven the mixed Pit/Boxer rescue pup who are both ready to meet new friends. We have also had two awesome Great Danes (Thor and Loki) so we are comfortable with any size dog. Both our girls have some medical issues, so we are experienced in giving oral and injectable medications on a daily basis. John works from home three days a week and Kim's job is flexible allowing her to be home when needed so our babies are spoiled with love and attention all day. We also only take two other dogs at a time and make sure those two dogs have compatible temperaments and will most likely get along!
