Empty Nester with love for pets
Pet care experience
I am a recent divorcee with adult children. I have too big of a heart and need to give my love and attention to someone/thing. I prefer the something over the someone right now. Pets don't argue nor have negative attitudes. I have many many many years of experience with cats, dogs, and bunnies but will care for anything. I just moved to Valparaiso in August and work a full time flexible schedule in Merrillville. Im willing to work with you so your pet’s needs are fully met and exceeded, whether that is in my home or yours, their needs are my number one priority while you are away. A big fat cat does share my residence but he’s harmless. He can always be put in another room if needed.

Information Kim J. would like to know about your pet
My prices are negotiable depending on distance from home, length of stay needed, and size and number of pets. I have watched pit/bulldog mix (he's the one laying his head on my daughters head), a labradoodle, small lap dogs, a 100 lb 1 year old dobermin, a bichon, a pig (yes, an indoor pig), bunnies, and cats.
A typical day
I prefer to spend as much time as the owner will allow with the pets. Pets become sad and depressed when their owners leave. Some refuse to eat for days until they give in from hunger or their owner returns. My job is to make the pet as comfortable and happy as I possibly can. By spending a lot of time with the pet, in a familiar setting, playing with their toys, eases their seperation anxiety from their owners. I also like to take the dogs for walks and car rides if allowed.
