Pet care experience
My husband and I have 2 very spoiled labs of our own! We live on 15 acres and our world revolves around our grown children and our 2 labs! And yes, our girls 🐾are very spoiled - they prefer our leather couch! I taught in the Manhattan School District for 29 years & retired in June! I would love to help you be able to relax while you are away by loving up on your fur babies!

If there were an option to give more than 5 stars, this would be the time. Kim was extremely helpful and our pup enjoyed himself from the moment she walked through the door to meet him. There was a last minute change in Kim's availability and situation and she did not cancel our booking but instead went above and beyond driving 40 minutes multiple times a day to check up on our pup and take him on play dates with her 3 labs and family. The ONLY Rover person we will be using from now on as long as she's available. Beyond satisfied.
Kim would be a perfect addition to the Rover dog care community! She is kind, caring, responsible, and most of all loves dogs. She has three dogs of her own and provides the best care for them. Kim is outgoing and trustworthy. Dog owners would be lucky to have her as their dog sitter because she will love on their dogs and be a trusting adult while the owners are away. I would trust her with my own dogs and know she would provide the most loving environment when I was away from my dogs.
We moved to our new home in Manhattan, KS in December 2021. Since we both travel for our jobs, one of our first worries was to find someone to take care of our 10 year old Bichon Frise, Lucy, while we were out of town. We feel blessed to have found Kim to take care of Lucy because she is very caring, dependable and passionate about her responsibilities. She takes care of our pet just as she was part of her family.
Kim has been a dear friend of mine for several years. She loves dogs and has 3 of her own that are very well taken care of. She is a hard worker, detail orientated and will follow directions given from owners without any issues. Your animal family will be well taken care of with Kim!

I will take care of your pet like he/she is my own! I will make sure to lock your home when I leave & only visit with your pet in the living room area unless otherwise specified by you! I will check your mail for you daily! I have raised my rate to $75 a day due to the rising cost of fuel & to help compensate the 20% that Rover charges for their fee which comes out of my daily fee from you!

A typical day
I will take your dog on long walks - will take the heat of the Summer into consideration! Sit outside with your pet to keep him/her company this is another way to provide outdoor time together & companionship while you are away! If your pet is socialized with other pets I may take them for a car ride to have a play date with my 2 girls!
