I grew up with dogs (German Shepard, husky mix, spaniel mix) but haven’t been able to have one of my own since going to college, working full time, and now moving to Pittsburgh for graduate school. I will be in school full time but have decent early morning, late afternoon and evening flexibility to care for, play, walk, exercise and get my puppy fix in. I am energetic, punctual, responsible and loving. I am willing to learn and continue reinforcing any training, commands, and socialization you have established with your pet. I will have a car that is available for pick ups and drop offs and would love to explore the local parks with your dogs. I have worked in a school for kids with developmental disabilities for the past 3 years, and in the past have worked as a waitress and in sport management at Gettysburg College. Many families I used to babysit for had both dogs and cats and I have had some experience caring for just the pets when the families have travelled for vacation. Additionally, I live with two cats which is why I would prefer to go to other's homes for pet care. I am gentle and patient and truly excited to be able to help you out in your time of need!
