I treat all animals as if they were my own. I've had many different pets from sugar gliders to salamanders to dogs. I'm a nurse so I'm comfortable giving shots or medications of any kind. I had a Weimaraner with diabetes that required insulin shots twice a day. My daughter currently has a sugar glider that was recently diagnosed with gingivitis and was required to take antibiotics in the morning and at night. If you know anything about sugar gliders then you know that wasn't an easy task. I go above and beyond loving not only my pets, but any dogs or animals I'm taking care of. (When I was 8 years old I tried to brush my hamster's teeth.) If that's not love, I don't know what is!
