Pet care experience
I have had rescue dogs in my childhood and adult life. Currently we have a 4-year old Lab who is very fun and two 6-year old rescue cats. Let me play fetch and cuddle with your pooch or cat while you're away. Rest assured, your pet will have my full attention.

I have an 11 year old rescue named Daisy that is the center of our world! We could not go on vacation without ensuring that she has the best care while we are away. Kim and Chris are the consummate caregivers for our old girl. They adjust to her energy levels and maintain the environment and schedule that she expects. Daisy loves them and is able to stay in her own house when we are away. Having Kim and Chris really eliminates the stress and worry we had experienced with kennel boarding. I highly recommend Kim and Chris!
Kim is loving and caring and always takes really good care of the pets that she watches. She has years and years of pet care experience. I highly recommend her for pet watching. She treats the pets as if they are part of her own pet family. She is responsible, dependable and extremely kind.

I have house/pet sat for friends and family for many years and decided to make it official through Rover. Having someone stay in your pet's home makes them more comfortable and less stressed because their routine is not as altered. Our dog and cats are seen regularly by VCA Old Trail so that they live long, healthy, happy lives.

I look forward to meeting your fur baby and you soon. I need to know what their typical schedule is, if they have special dietary or medical needs, if they are particularly scared of things and general temperament. Basically, how I can take the best care of them while you are gone. I promise to love them like they are my own until you come back.
A typical day
I will love taking your dog on long walks for exercise and playing fetch or tug-of-war. After exercising, we can cuddle and relax while they wait for your return. If they like to be brushed, that is also one of my favorite things to do. Does your pet like to go for car rides? if that's acceptable to you, I like walking in the many parks in our area to give them new experiences and smells. I also am happy to provide daily pictures of your pet or video chat so that you can see that your pet is safe and well taken care of.

Availability
I still work full time, 3 days at home and 2 days driving to Baltimore. My husband, who is semi-retired, is ready, willing and looking forward to filling in for any daytime needs for the hours I'm at work.
