I've grown up with many dogs and cats in the house, and have pet sat for other families since I was around 10. I love all pets and am willing to help with walking/exercising, feeding, spending time with and comforting pets, cleaning out litter boxes/back yards, basic training, and light grooming.

I have been using Kiley as my pet sitter for at least the last five years and she has always been very reliable and attentive to my dogs and cats. She has been responsible for many aspects of pet care including feeding, exercise, medicating, and helping with training, and I have always felt safe leaving my pets in her care. All of my pets, of varying breeds and personalities, have come to love her and I would enthusiastically recommend her to any pet owner looking for a pet sitter and/or dog walker. She is great about communicating any questions or issues to me and sending me lots of update pictures of my fur babies when I’m away. If you’re looking for a responsible pet sitter that truly cares about pets, Kiley is a clear choice.
I've known Kiley to be very responsible since she was in the first grade. She grew up caring for her family's pets, and she has helped care for our pets while we were on vacations over the years. I'm also familiar with her great customer service skills as a repeat Girl Scout cookie client.

I generally take a gentle approach to pets getting to know me in which they can first come up to me to sniff my hand and choose whether they want to be petted. I then let them take the lead in how they want to play or be petted by paying attention to what they suggest through their body language. When walking dogs, I work to keep them on the sidewalk away from traffic dangers and away from unknown people/animals while allowing them to explore as is safe.

How does your dog react to other dogs that it sees on walks? What activities does your dog enjoy, and what things doesn't it like? What makes the dog anxious and what is the best way to address that? What routines are important to your dog?
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks in a variety of environments, around neighborhoods, and I know some local parks and forests that many dogs enjoy. I also like helping to teach dogs training commands using treats and like playing games such as fetch with a ball or frisbee. In terms of more laid back activities, I also spend a lot of time just sitting on the couch with dogs and giving plenty of tummy rubs.

Availability
I work remotely and would be willing to spend time with the pets during the day when I am working and take them out on potty breaks every couple of hours when doing in-home care. Outside of work, I am generally free after 4 pm on weekdays and like to take dogs on a somewhat long walk once I'm done with work, and I'd be willing to visit dogs before/after work. My weekends are generally fairly open and I enjoy spending a lot of time walking, playing with, and cuddling pets on weekends.
