Pet care experience
I have 20+ years of experience watching a variety of dog ages and breeds. I currently have a terrier-shepherd mixed dog of 2 years old. He has a lot of energy and I would love to care for your dog or puppy and provide them a playmate, too! We also recently welcomed a puppy to the household! She is my housemates dog and is a bit more shy at first than my dog but has tons of energy and loves other dogs and playing (nonstop). Because of this, I typically will not board older dogs as I’ve found the mix between high energy, younger dogs and calmer, older dogs not to be the best fit.

Kiersten sent us photos during the stay and it looks like our dogs played well during the visit. Fito had so much fun that he tried to go back inside when picked up and then tried pulling to the backyard to keep playing. ?
She’s great. I had a last minute emergency and she was able to take Bella! She’s so sweet.
Kiersten was great! Buddy came back happy and healthy.

I have a two-lot fenced in yard that your dog can explore. I like to supervise them in the yard for the first few times they're over to make sure they're comfortable, but they are welcome to have a lot of outdoor time depending on your preference and the weather. My dog and my housemates dog get along great with other pets, but I still always supervise play to ensure the dogs are reading each other's cues.

I prefer active dogs of any breed, though typically medium to larger dogs do best. Puppies welcome as well. Unfortunately I cannot accommodate any dogs with aggression towards humans or other dogs.
A typical day
The majority of doggy playtime is spent running in the yard or in the house. We don’t do a ton of walks anymore as three dogs is a lot! We have tons of toys, as well as a few dog toy puzzles specifically for mental stimulation, too.

Availability
I work hybrid, so some days I’m in the office and other days I’m home. When I’m home, the dogs are out usually all day, with a couple crate breaks when I have meetings. When I go into work, they get about 30 minutes of time before I leave and then are out all evening when I return. Since I am sometimes gone during the daytime, your dog will need to be fully crate trained (I have a crate here so no need to bring one).
