I have had dogs and other animals my entire life. I own a Grooming & Boarding business that is located right beside my home. This allows me to be with your pets nearly 24/7. I believe in treating pets just like family. Ensuring your dog has a fun, safe stay is my top priority! You can rest assured your fur baby will be well loved and cared for while you are away.

We needed someone to watch our 2 German shepherds in short notice because our normal sitter had a family emergency and Kiersten came through perfectly for us! She has so much room for the dogs to run and play and her kennels are perfect! We will absolutely be using her again.

I have a large fenced in yard, plenty of room indoors for your pet to let loose and play, as well as spacious kennels in my grooming shop. My kennels are 4x8 ft outside, and 4x8 &4x4 ft Inside. These kennels as well as indoor play areas are cleaned and disinfected daily. They are temperature controlled with beds, toys, treats, blankets, food and water. My business name is Southern Paws Grooming & Kennels.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs that I may need to accommodate. Also, if they do not get along with other dogs, or children so I can prepare necessarily.
A typical day
Typically, during a normal day, between 730-8 AM the boarding dogs will be let out to potty and then placed back in their respective kennels for morning feeding, so they can eat uninterrupted and alone. Then, they will go into the fenced yard (weather permitting) for free play time and socialization. Or if they prefer to lounge around they can hang with me inside the house, or on the grooming shop couch! They will go back into the kennel for their evening meal. Then we will have one on one time, play, leashed walks, brushing etc. after that will be rest time until bed time! On my off days from grooming, we often take dogs for walks at the local park! We send plenty of pictures and videos to help give you peace of mind that your pet is safe and happy!
