Hi, I'm Kierra and I love dogs!! I am currently a nursing student and at the University of Pennsylvania. I often work from home and my schedule is extremely flexible, particularly in the mornings and late afternoons/evenings. I live with my partner — a fellow dog lover — who also works from home and loves caring for pups as well! When I am at school, I'm nearby, less than a mile away. I am major dog lover and I have had dogs my whole life, as I grew up with a dachshund and a golden retriever. I currently have two chihuahua mixes, who are the loves of my life. Though little TJ is dog friendly for the most part, he can become aggressive with larger dogs that are very play forward with other dogs, so these pups are not the best fit for our home, unfortunately. I currently live in an apartment and can provide a safe and comfortable environment for your pup. I am in Walnut Hill and I am located very close to Clark Park, where we can go to go running in the mornings! My dogs are not crated while I am out, but I am happy to accommodate your needs regarding crating your own dog. While in my care, a typical day for your dog would start with breakfast and a walk or run around Clark Park. Then, around 10:00am I would head to class for a 2-4 hours. After class ends, I immediately come home where I do some work from home. We would go for a late afternoon walk and have some play time. Then I would probably go back to work in my apartment with the pups. Finally, dinner time and a late evening walk, where we might head back to Clark Park for some play time. On the weekends, we might take an extra long walk and head to the dog park at the Schuylkill River trail if that's something with which you're comfortable. I have experience caring for dogs both in my home and from experience volunteering at various animal shelters. I have experience both hosting dogs of various sizes in my home for overnight stays and staying in clients' homes for dog and housesitting. References are available upon request. Additionally, I have experience administering medications and I am trained in canine CPR. No breed restrictions here — I am staunchly against BSL and love bully breeds. I'm passionate about caring for and rescuing animals and hope to get to know your pup soon! :)
