I have grown up living with cats and dogs and have spent the last few years dog-sitting with my girlfriend throughout University - Nervous dogs/Rescues included!

Kieran is amazing! We are a first time dog owner and we’re extremely nervous to leave our little puppy Lola for 10 days. But from the second we made contact with Kieran we felt so at ease. He sent us messages and pictures regularly. We also met his lovely girlfriend Anna before we left as they were both going to be around Lola. I 100% trust Kieran with our beautiful dog and also he was a lovely guest in our house. We will continue to use Kieran for overnight stays and to keep the beautiful relationship between him and Lola we are also going to sign up for regular walks. Thanks again Kieran you made our holiday a really stress free event and a very happy puppy.

I like to get to know each dog and understand their love language/boundaries. I love to play with dogs and can handle larger breeds. During walking I like to allow every dog to travel, explore and take the world in at their own pace. I’m patient and gentle, and above all want each owner to know and feel like their friends are in good hands. I have cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities, and understand how different and individual the needs of each can be.

Some rescue dogs have a tendency to distrust larger men, which I understand. If this is the case, I can bring my girlfriend, also a dog sitter, and attempt to ease the dog’s tension through introducing her first, and working together to make him/her comfortable.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs, and get out into the wild. Parks, forests, river walks - all at their own individual pace, with plenty of stops for cuddles on the way. I’m patient with nervous dogs and will reward their trust frequently. I do not believe in any form of punishment/shaming!

Availability
Dog walking is my full time job and I love every second! I walk a few dogs a week currently, including rescues. I find the process rewarding and enlightening and am excited to make new furry friends. I have plenty of space in my schedule for new dogs!
