My wife and I have a spoiled-rotten cat of 3 years, who receives NO negative attention :) She has food allergies and had medical issues when we adopted her, so we are experienced with moderately needy cats. We also need to brush her teeth daily to protect her sensitive gums, so we are comfortable with that kind of care as well. I am a full-time student in medical school (from home), and my wife works primarily from home. Aside from the occasional errand, we are home most of the time with our cat - and potentially yours! Our cat stays exclusively indoors, and our house is newly constructed - no environmental hazards here. We are not sure how our cat does with other cats, but we have 2 bedrooms and an attached shared bathroom that can serve as a closed-off mini apartment, so each cat can have their own space.
