Pet care experience
Animals have still magical quality about them, where they always brighten your day. I have been taking care of dogs since I was 18. I got my first dog when I was 19 during Covid. My dog literally saved my family from going crazy. We all fawned over her. I have experience managing a schedule between my work and puppy potty breaks. I simply love loving dogs.

Kiera is a true pet lover. She takes responsibility for her family’s two dogs, feeding them and walking them regularly, and also giving them the love and attention they crave. She also happily cares for pets in her neighborhood and pets of family members. She has a good instinct for when pets are feeling well and when they might have health issues. Kiera will happily care for any animal she has been entrusted with.

I know sometimes it can be an adjustment for your dogs to have someone new in their home. I like to have a meet and greet so they can grow used to me. I have experience with anxious dogs so we can have multiple sessions of these until they are comfortable. Play sessions are included in my visits. For more shy dogs I can just sit with them so they aren’t lonely. Pictures during and after walks are included as well so you can know how they are doing.

Please let me know about any behaviors or joint issues you want me to be aware. Please know I do not have much experience with senior dogs and I only take on senior dogs that I can lift myself (less than 45 lbs). This is in case they struggle down the stairs or need to get into the car.
A typical day
I like to give them time outside as well as cooling down time. This will especially be present with my puppy clients. For play time please let me know where I can find the toys if you have some and perhaps your dog(s) favorite toy.

I am available for weekend sitting. As a full time student graduating in this May, I will have more availability in the summer. Please contact me if you are thinking for trips during those months.
