Kiera was very kind and attentive to my puppy’s needs while I was away for the night. She was very good at communicating and sending pictures while I was away!

We booked a house stay with Kiera while we were out of town for 6 days. We have ring cameras outside and noticed one day that she was gone for a very long time during the day. When we text her about it she let us know that she had a long shift, she apologized and we were under the impression it wouldn’t happen again. However, 2 days later she was gone again for a very long time during the day, with just another excuse as to why. She was gone for 12 hrs during the day both times, leaving our animals unattended without saying anything to us. We reached out to her again and ended up having to coordinate with a neighbor to come over on a 3rd day to help. After we returned from our trip I reviewed all of our Ring camera footage. Seeing that she was gone for 12 hrs two different days and then having to coordinate with our neighbor the 3rd day, I reached out to her and requested a refund for only those days and explained to her why. I was only asking for her fees back, not the fees I paid to Rover. She offered a partial refund because what I was asking of her “wasn’t fair” since she still used her car and gas those days, even though she didn’t provide the service we paid for. In addition to the lack of care, we only received 1 picture of one of our pets while we were gone and had to ask/check in on them for updates on their wellbeing. That isn’t such a big deal, but if you’re looking for someone more attentive, Kiera isn’t the sitter for you. In the end Rover support handled the situation well. We will not be rebooking with Kiera due to the lack of communication and poor quality of service.
