Off-leash nature walks + swimming!

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Kiera and I am a senior at MSU with a passion for animals. I'm home in Ann Arbor for the summer and looking to love your dog for you! I've had 5 dogs throughout the course of my life, all who were spoiled rotten, so I'm used to two 30+ minute walks a day per dog, walking multiple dogs at once, caring for large dogs, and constant belly rubs. I also have experience caring for dogs with food aggression and aggression towards other dogs, blind dogs, diabetic dogs –you name it! I have reliable transportation, and tireless energy and patience when it comes to dogs. Furthermore, I'm very trustworthy and will always be happy to send you pictures, videos, and updates on how your dog is doing. I will always be just a click away to care for your furry friend!

Kiera is a truly great dog sitter. She's very responsible and is not afraid to ask questions in order to be sure that your dog is getting the care that they need. You can tell that she has a true love for dogs and they love her back!

Kiera loves dogs and animals more than anything. She has lots of experience dog walking and pet sitting. I would trust her with my animals any time.

Kiera has cared for my labrador Ace a number of times and she is incredibly trust-worthy and I have always been really happy with her services. Kiera follows instructions to a T, and was always really good when working with my dog's aggression towards other dogs, and his disobedience when on a leash. You can tell she's a true animal lover and I feel so comfortable leaving my pet with her because I know he will always come back happy as ever.

There is no one I know that loves animals quite as much as Kiera does. She will frequently go out of her way just to pet a dog that she sees walking down the street! Kiera has had multiple dogs since I have known her, and she has shown the same love and devotion to each one of them. She spends much of her free time walking and playing with her own dog, and I know she would extend this love to any animal in her care.

Information Kiera D. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know about any health or behavioral problems. I do not have breed preferences (there are no inherently bad dogs!) and will VERY rarely ever decline an opportunity to work with dogs with behavioral problems. When dog walking, I often drive them to wooded trails or parks before officially beginning my walk, and so I'll ask how your dog does in the car, off leash, around other dogs and pedestrians, and any other relevant questions to keep everyone safe and happy!

A typical day

I frequently walk through Bird Hills Nature Area and Barton Hills Nature Area, which are spots that offer the ability for dogs to be off leash, go swimming, and hike up more difficult terrain. I'm always eager to play fetch and tug-o-war, visit one of the local dog parks, or simply cuddle up on the couch for a belly rub.
