Pet care experience
I worked for a grooming, daycare, and boarding facility as a manager for 5 1/2 years and worked as a veterinary assistant for 2 years. I have a wide range of experience and knowledge in all types of dog breeds and other small animals. I can give topical and oral medications along with the ability to give insulin. I have a lot of experience working with senior and special needs dogs (blind, deaf, epileptic, diabetic, etc).

The first thing I do is make sure everything is picked up off the floor and everything is clean. I adhere to schedules and routines as 2 of my dogs take medication 3 times a day. All dogs are properly secured on a harness and leash when leaving the house. Pets will be boarded in an air conditioned out with ample space to run and will be separated from my own personal dogs unless given permission for them to interact. I am fear free certified for dogs and cats so I always try to make them feel as comfortable as possible.

A typical day
It varies on a pet by pet basis. I like to play their favorites games with them whether it is fetch or tug of war. I enjoy taking them on walks around the neighborhood, at the park, or on the beach.

Availability
I recently moved to the state so I currently have full availability to provide pet care. I have 4 dogs of my own and 2 snakes that I care for daily.
