I’ve had pets my whole life. I got my first dog of my own when I was 18. I lost my soul dog Beans at 9 years old to cancer in April 2022 after 7 years together, but someone abandoned their golden retriever puppy into my care in March 2023. I like to say that the universe knew we needed each other. She was definitely unexpected, but has been an absolute blessing and Wednesday does accompany me to house sits when she can. Otherwise she stays home with my roommate (who is also rover background checked and approved) and her little black cat sister named Jiji. I was previously a boarding kennel attendant for multiple years, so I have all kinds of skills and understanding of your pets potential needs! I’m extremely patient and compassionate with animals, and many of my coworkers, friends, and family rely on me for pet care. I’m really flexible and willing to work with you to make sure your pet is comfortable and happy. Having lost a dog to cancer, I have a special understanding of what that’s like to go through. I am experienced and comfortable with hospice and end-of-life care. It’s such a privilege to care for senior and special needs dogs. I’ve had multiple clients reach out to me to be a part of their pet’s support system during this extremely difficult time. I’m happy to discuss additional rates for drop-ins/care of this nature. 🤍 That being said, I’m definitely comfortable with all ages, breeds, and sizes! I just have a soft spot for the old ones and the little ones 😸
