Your furbaby’s happiness is #1.

Pet care experience

I just moved here in California from Jacksonville, Florida. I am very new here and it is exciting to meet new paw-rents and furry kids. Short story about my experience, I have a experience doing in kennel and fostering animals for 7 years and does Housesitting with any kind of animals, drop in, walking with dogs and I used to work pawsite care agency in Florida which is similar as Rover. I take this job very seriously. Even if this is for dogs app, I’m also flexible with other animals that you want me to take care of. Unless you have T-REX 🦖 then no, I’m scared of them.😭 I used to work at dogs daycare and I loved it every single moment. I have a bad habit to see if I need to rescue animals as much I can, sometimes it’s hard to not able to rescue all of them. It breaks my heart…but when I can! I tend to foster until they find a forever homes. I am free most of time and study for my final state of board for facials in June 10 and June 19th as you can see, I have 3 dogs but I call them my kids, so I manage my schedule for them to spend time with me and be okay, so it is same with your dogs or cats, or any kind of animals. I worry about them as much I worry about your furry kids. I will always be honest if I know if there’s day I’m booked. I will tell you before your pet comes and I want to make sure all my clients are comfortable with me. I raise them like my children. I won’t lie that they are spoiled, however they are smart and easy to be taken care of!

Accepted my request for a last minute drop in visit. She was patient with my dog who is terrified of being around strangers when I’m not around. I just wish she didn’t let my dog pee on my couch 🙃

Kiara was a great last minute sitter for my boss’s pups. She is very thorough and willing to accommodate any extra requests! We will definitely be working with Kiara again in the future

I will recommend Kiara to become a dog sitter on Rover.com because she has her own great responsible of my baby Chihuahua, Joey. My dog is only 9 months old now, Kiara has been took care of her when Joey was around 7-8 months old by took her out, play her, feed her, and give her a lot of love and pay attention.

My furkids are mine which means if your dogs are able to get along with mine then I’m not worried about anything. Your happiness is important! I am not strict as long the owners are honest with me how their dogs behave, illness and if it is potty trained. If your dogs did literally pee in my house without you telling me that it is not potty trained. I charge $100 per night. I take my job very seriously and it is your responsibility to tell me anything you can think of and concerns. If your dog is not potty trained, you will not get charged. It is simple. I do not want any untrained potty in my home and showing my dogs that it is okay to mark at my home. I can identify when dog is anxiety and have accidents or when they are having illness and couldn’t handle the bladder. I will help in any way I can. I fostered before, I took care of puppies and kittens, and I took care of mothers as well so I am pretty flexible as long communication is there and fully honest. We all be happy.

Information Kiara J. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your baby does have separation anxiety, sensitive stomach and any kind of health issue before a day to book. I know most of home remedy for dogs but I have to remind you, I’m not a vet. I can recommend but I prefer you to take your babies to vet to double to check. Your dog’s health is priority and safety for me and my dogs. I am very flexible with most of animals to do whatever they do at my home as long they are potty trained.

A typical day

I take my dogs almost everywhere and yes, when I’m not studying or working. I travel. Which means I do take them with me. If I travel to other city or other states which is rare for some paw-rents wants me to take their dog with us. I consider them like a family & friends. Some of my close friends have dogs, we call them cousins or nieces/nephews and that includes my family which we call others. My mom does have a dog so I consider her as my baby sister. Furry companion are family, period. If you ever need a break from your doggies, cats or any kind of animal you have, I can take them with me but I will charge more because of travel, the location where we will sleep, and my time for your furry kids to have my full attention. Rover is fun job but it is serious job too. For fun activities as you want me to take your dogs to dog park, beach, or any location with my dogs. If there’s big events for doggies or cats or so… I charge for driving with your babies which is $50 in cash. NO BUTS. If you need a driver to pick up your baby to vet at last minute notice for vet emergency. I charge $80 for two round trip since California is very expensive for gas so I hope you do understand. I recommend you to pick “drop in” if this situation happens and be prepare for $80 for gas in cash upfront. If you are not at home, we discuss how you can pay upfront. Their health is important to me but my time is also important so I hope you do understand that.
