I recently graduated with my bachelors degree and am currently working from home. I live alone and have been missing my own pup and kitty (8 y/o golden retriever and 5 y/o cat) who are now in the care of my grandpa because he needs their companionship more than me. Other than raising both of these beautiful beings since being babies, I do not have professional experience. However, I will say that I believe in treating pets with respect as equal family members. Pets definitely teach us lots about boundaries and consent! I work from home and live in a house with a fenced yard. I typically have a open schedule 7 days a week. There is no set time that I must be a certain place...unless I’m traveling. I keep my schedule updated everyday. I highly value being outside, especially since it’s summer time. If pets were to be in my care beyond just a walk I would like to be able to take them with me to parks and other outdoor activities such as hiking. I would appreciate talking over boundaries and preferences with owners before anything.
