Pet care experience
I’ve been working and around animals since I was a very young child. My family has had dogs and cats all my life. I frequently volunteer at my local animal shelters and dog/cat sit for friends! I love exercise and would love to take your pup on a run, walk or hike several times a day. I also am a big believer in playtime for your pet and would love to give your pet the attention they need while you are away! I’m also an excellent house sitter and have references and lots of experience. I’ve worked with large and small dogs, cats, and puppies and kittens. I can’t wait to get to know you and your pet!

Kiah is an amazing pet sitter! She has taken care of my pets and many other people's pets that I know. She is caring, attune to animal's mannerisms, responsible and dependable. If you have an active dog, Kiah will have no problem getting your pet exercise. I have been with her on many adventures when she was dog sitting and she is tuned in the animal's needs. She would be a perfect pick for your pet-sitting needs!! Very responsive and punctual as well.

Currently I am unable to care for pets in my home, however, I love connecting with pets in their natural habitat! I am an excellent house sitter and have multiple references for experience. I will always do a meet and greet with you and your pet so that your pet and I can connect before you are away. I love getting to know your pets’ routine ahead of time so that I can make the transition as comfortable as possible for them!

I think meet and greets are the best way I can get to know you, your pet, and your pets’ daily routine. I like to know favorite walks, toys, the best times to feed them, what works for them during storms, any medication needs, any special needs I should be aware of, commands that work for your pet when necessary, any tricks or commands you are working on currently, etc.
A typical day
Pets are a passion of mine! I love going on walks, near and far. I am an avid hiker and can take your pet on a multi-mile exploration (should they want to do so!) Playing with pets is a great way that I can connect with them. I am also just fine to cuddle on the couch with your pet and give snuggles and attention. I’m fully aware that different pets have different needs and am very flexible to accommodate whatever works best for your pet!

Availability
I’m currently working full time and get off early in the day (about 3:45 pm). My partner and I house sit together and her schedule allows her to go in at 10:45am. Your pet will only be alone in the house for 5 hours max!
