Hi! My name is Khang, but I go by Claire :) I’ve had multiple dogs as pets since I was 6 years old, and they're my best friends. Growing up, I was the neighborhood dog-sitter. During my undergrad, I volunteered at the humane society and worked with different breeds and sizes. I've also worked with multiple backgrounds/personalities from timid, hyper, aggressive, and so on. Volunteering/dog-sitting entailed bathing, feeding, walking, training, and grooming.

Before entering your home I’ll be sure to read all directions to make sure your doggo is comfortable when I enter. I will make sure to respect furniture and belongings, and give your pets a warm welcome to let them warm up to me before we start our walk. Whether you want us to play in your yard, indoors, neighborhood, or nearby dog park, I will happily do so.

I would appreciate knowing all the specific details and needs, likes, and dislikes of your dog ahead of time. Things that may trigger them so that I can avoid it, things that make them excited or happy, anything that you feel is important for me to know, I welcome. I want them to feel comfortable and I want you as an owner to feel as little stress as possible, your best friend will be in good hands. I recommend owners to send their furry friend with a couple favorite toys or things that smell like home in case they feel homesick. ❤️
A typical day
Fun activities are all up to the doggo!! So if they love their ball, we'll play ball; If they enjoy socializing with other dogs, I'll talk them to dog parks; If they enjoy snuggles, we'll snuggle. I typically go on walks around my neighborhood that was a large park and walking area! I also love being active, so if your dog enjoys water or lakes, that can highly likely be added to our day. :)

Availability
I am currently a grad student away from home and missing my furry babies so much. I figured helping others pet owners out and getting time to spend with doggos would be perfect, win-win! I am available throughout the week for check-ins and short walks. As my pets would be my priority, I would make yours a priority also!
