Pet care experience
I love walking and playing with dogs and am happy to give your dog some company and meet their needs while their owners are away! I myself have had my own furry friend for 8 years now (a small Lhasa-poo) and am now living with and helping take care of my roommates young German Shepherd. Needless to say between those two our house is always filled with excitement! Outside of my puppy sitting time I am a senior Graphic Design major at JMU, I work as a publicity / graphic design student assistant for JMU's Career and Academic Planning and as a freelance designer and artist on the side (check out the cool portrait I painted for a friend!). I am mainly available in the evenings after 6:30-7pm during the week due to my long work days. My most available days are weekends and weeknights when I am happy to stop by or make a house-sit for the night!

Khalyn Brown is an animal lover but her favorite animal are dogs! She is an exceptional care giver to her own dog! Khalyn is a very responsible, and reliable individual who takes care of other dogs as though they are her own with lots of love and care!
Khanly is AWESOME ! I would highly recommend her. She took her time and was extremely patient. My dog loved her and you could tell he was having fun and learning at the same time. She made everything simple for us so we could partice with him.

I would like to know about the dog before sitting him or her. Mainly so I know what the dog may prefer, if there are any specific instructions on how to take care of the dog, how their health is, etc. I have no breed preferences, all dogs are cool with me.
A typical day
Familiar places to the dog, such as their neighborhood. If permitted by owner we can walk in public walking areas such as: Reston Town Center (if close), dog parks, plazas with safe walking zones. We can play fetch, enjoy sitting in some grass, run around, people watch, hide and seek (indoors) and some good old pampering. Oh, and hiking!!
