Pet care experience
Growing up, my household was always a menagerie, and I've been happily taking care of dogs, cats, guinea-pigs, lizards, fish etc. since a very young age. Now an experienced animal parent, sitter and occasional rescuer, I love to bond with animals of all shapes and sizes, combining fun, active care with a calm and loving energy. I'm comfortable working with pets of all ages, and will be more than happy to help with training and/or medical requirements as needed.

I have a quiet, calm and mostly accident-proof home with a walled yard for potty-breaks, playing and sunbathing as often as your pet would like it. A small dog might be able to squeeze through the gate, but I rarely leave pets unsupervised (never, if you request it) and do not leave the house with pets in the yard. My husband works full time but he also adores animals, and will make a wonderful additional companion for any pet staying with us. We recently lost our beautiful dog, Charlie, but we still have a dog-friendly cat named Murray, who can be kept separate from your pet if necessary.

A typical day
Our interspecies family loves hiking, playing, chasing lizards in the garden and cuddling on the sofa, but I am most interested in learning what your pet likes to do and/or is used to! If your dog has a favourite spot for a walk, loves playing with other doggies at the dog park or simply likes hanging out at home, I'm happy to accommodate. All pets' needs are different!

I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so your pet will be my top priority! My own pets get regular garden visits, play-sessions and belly-scratches throughout the day.
