Hi, I'm Keylee! I spent much of my childhood surrounded by animals on my family farm. I've been caring for all types of animals my entire life, but dogs have a special place in my heart (especially dachshunds). I currently own a dachshund named Leo (male, 2 years old), and a lab-shiba rescue pup names Khloe (female, 3 years old). We spend much of our time at the dog park, on hikes, or cuddling on the couch. My dogs get along well with all other dogs and would love another friend to come stay, anytime. I'm that annoying person who stops and pets every dog that walks by. I truly love meeting and surrounding myself with new furry friends. With that said, here are the logistics; I work full-time (9-5), but am home all weekends. My husband is a full-time student, and is home to care for our dogs the middle hours of the day. We would treat your dog like we care for ours. We live in an apartment building and take our dogs out to potty 3-4 times a day (morning, afternoon, and night). Our pups get fed morning and night, and we take a trip to the local dog park(s) a few times a week. Lindsey Gardens is closest to us and our favorite! All other time is spent playing with toys inside of snuggling on the couch. Our dogs are house trained and roam free while we're gone. If your dog is kennel trained then please provide his/her kennel for us to use when we set out of the house, otherwise they're free to roam with our dogs. And by roam, that usually means napping on our couch. We are looking to board smaller sized dogs since we don't have a yard, or the space to facilitate large breeds-even though we LOVE big dogs.
