I have been animals almost my whole life. 14 years ago, my family bought a golden retriever puppy whom we named Oatie. From the time I was eight years old up until a year ago when he sadly passed, I cared for Oatie like he was my own brother. I would walk him daily so that he could get out and do what he loved most which was to explore nature. I was always concerned about his well-being and made sure he was fed and watered when someone else would have forgotten. He was always made to feel like he was another member of our family and not just a pet. I also have years of experience of taking care of cats. At one time I had three cats living under my roof. I always made sure they were fed and that they were given their proper medication. My whole life, I've viewed these animals and all animals as more than just pets. They were family. I always looked at them as individuals in the same light at myself. Even though they can't communicate, they still want to live a satisfying life and be loved and cared for. I applied this philosophy to every animal I've cared for and will do the same for yours as well.
