Kevin: With my personality type, I'm more comfortable with animals than people. While everybody else at the party is playing games and socializing, I'm away from the crowd bonding with the dog. I've always had a passion for animals and love any opportunity to interact with our furry friends. I'm currently employed as a dog walker (weekdays I'm working between 10-3), but gaining experience training them for advancement in my career. Any behavior you'd like me to reinforce, I'd love to help out. I take a lot of pride in facilitating growth. My method is using positive reinforcement. I have gained experience with many breeds and understand that every dog is unique. I'm willing to accommodate any reasonable request to make sure that your loved one(s) feel as comfortable as possible during your time apart. Hopefully no event occurs that requires first aid, but if one should arise, you can rest assured that I am trained and certified in CPR and first aid for dogs. Jess: While Kevin works with animals for a living, I unfortunately don't. Which makes it even better when I can come home after a long day at work to a friendly furry dog in the house. With having both a male and female figure in the house we find that a lot of the dogs we watch feel very comfortable very fast. So if your dog warms up faster to men or women, we have that covered. Also, if your dog is used to going for jogs, I will be happy to take them. We have a lovely pond with a great path for exerting energy. We send daily pupdates with pictures (or every other day for stays 7 or more days). We enjoy the creative process of taking pictures and writing about the adventures of the day. This is how you'll stay connected and know what your pup has been up to, so we understand how important this is to your peace of mind. We will only board up to 2 dogs from the same household and from one household at a time. We treat any animal in our care as our own, so you can be confident that your pup will be treated as family.
