Pet care experience
Hi. I am a public school teacher with one year before retirement. I love dogs and have been a multiple dog owner since I was a kid (I'm now in my 50's). I am also the “go to dog watcher/walker” when family and friends are away and hopefully can be for your dog at some time as well.

We so appreciated how responsive Kevin was in booking and throughout the day while dog sitting our dog, Bailey. He took great care in making sure Bailey was well taken care of. We’ll definitely be booking Kevin in the future!
Kevin was a great dog sitter for Hobbes. They went for walks, played in the yard and lounged. Hobbes seemed very happy and, since he was longingly looking out the car window at Kevin's house when it was time to leave, he probably was not ready to go home. Hobbes also seemed to have fun with Kevin's two other dogs.
Kevin and Jill were wonderful! They welcomed Luna with kindness, and treated her as a member of their own family. Luna and their two dogs, Boxcar and Bella, became fast friends. During her stay, I received photos and texts to put me at ease that Luna was doing fine, and had made herself at home at their house. I felt confident that my furbaby was safe, happy, and being loved while I was away.

A typical day
Having dogs of our own we will be outside together....playing "fetch" or taking a walk around Spruce Run Reservoir. We also have a dog park in neighboring High Bridge. If owners/clients are good with that we may also make a short trip to see some other furry friends. If your dog loves walks we will typically go on at least 3 per day. Its a 1/2 - 3/4 of a mile loop around the neighbrhood in the morning, mid-day and early evening.

Availability
Once I retire I plan on having even greater flexibility and more scheduling for my dog friends and their owners. Currently I have the summer off and have availability Mon through Sunday, mornings, afternoons and evenngs.Once the school year begins again at the end of August I will still be available late afternoons and evenings with boarding options Fri and Sat nights only. I am available for walking, watching and for those interested, boarding at our home. We presently have two dogs, both rescues ( a chihuahua and a whippet hybrid) and a fully fenced in backyard (70’ x 100’) that is very dog friendly and dog secure for those who need an overnight or a doggy day care option.
