My baby seemed like he really enjoyed himself. I was updated throughout which made me feel very comfortable.

They have a great set up for the dogs to play, seemed very organized in the way they run their sitting, and sent lots of pictures! I would book with them again.

Kevin and Kristyna are amazing people! I had to leave my diabetic pup with them over the weekend. I was so scared to leave her but once we got to their home my pup was so comfortable. They were willing to test and inject her. She had the funnest time with them. I loved that she wasn’t in a kennel all day. They sent pictures all day which made me so much comfortable leaving her with them! I will definitely be leaving my yorkie with them.

A typical day

A typical day of pet sitting involves ensuring the pets are happy, healthy, and well-cared for while their owners are away. Here’s a detailed look at what a day might look like, along with some fun activities to keep the pets entertained and engaged: Morning Routine Wake-Up and Morning Check-In: Start the day by checking on the pets, ensuring they are safe and healthy. Give them some morning cuddles and affection to start their day on a positive note. Feeding: Prepare and serve breakfast according to the owner’s instructions, ensuring each pet gets the right amount and type of food. Walks and Exercise: Take dogs for a morning walk, which is a great way for them to get some exercise and relief. For cats and other indoor pets, engage in a morning play session with toys like feather wands or laser pointers. Midday Activities Playtime: Spend dedicated time playing with the pets. This could involve fetch, tug-of-war, or interactive toys for dogs, and various toys for cats. For small animals, allow them some supervised out-of-cage time or provide new toys or activities in their enclosure. Training and Mental Stimulation: Engage in short training sessions, teaching new tricks or reinforcing good behavior. This provides mental stimulation and strengthens the bond. Use puzzle toys or treat-dispensing toys to keep their minds active. Lunchtime and Treats: Depending on the pet’s routine, serve lunch or provide some healthy treats. Afternoon Routine Outdoor Adventures: For dogs, an afternoon trip to the park or a nature trail can be a wonderful adventure. Allow safe outdoor time for cats in a secure backyard or on a leash, if they are used to it. Socialization: Arrange playdates with other friendly pets if the pets are social and the owner has approved it. Spend time interacting and socializing, ensuring they get plenty of attention and affection. Evening Routine Dinner Time: Prepare and serve dinner as per the usual schedule. Winding Down: An evening walk for dogs helps them wind down and settle in for the night. Quiet play or cuddle time with cats or other pets helps them feel relaxed and secure. Final Check-In: Ensure all pets have had enough food, water, and attention. Make sure they are comfortable and settled in for the night. Fun Activities Specific to Different Pets Dogs: Agility training with simple homemade obstacles. A game of hide and seek with treats. Doggy playdates and socialization at dog parks. Cats: Creating a cardboard box maze or fort. Using interactive apps designed for cats on a tablet. Window perches or bird-watching stations. Small Animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.): Setting up a playpen with tunnels and toys. Providing new chew toys or puzzle feeders. Safe outdoor time in a secure enclosure. Birds: Teaching new words or songs. Providing new perches or toys in their cage. Allowing supervised flight time in a safe area. Throughout the day, it’s essential to provide plenty of love, attention, and enrichment to keep the pets happy and healthy. Keeping a routine similar to what they are used to helps them feel secure and reduces stress while their owners are away.
