I always had a dog growing up and love them! Now that I live in the city, I am not able to accommodate one with my living situation. This is a great way for me to get some canine interaction and hopefully help you out when your schedule is too full to give your dog the interaction it needs. The dogs I owned were mid size (lab & Retriever). I've also lived with room mates who had smaller dogs(Jug) and helped them out when I could. I currently work full time, days, and I live in the west end. Unfortunately, my building is pet free, so I can not host a dog at my place. I like to take dogs on walks in green spaces when I can (Stanley Park, Jericho Beach... etc).If the dog I have a good relationship, I like to play with them off leash, but only if I have had them out a couple times. I can do house sitting but the locations would be a little more restricted.
