Pet care experience
I grew up with 3 (large) dogs in my house and got my own Dalmatian puppy a few months ago. She’s super friendly with other dogs, she likes to play but will leave less playful dogs alone in favor of people. She’s also great with smaller dogs and is gentle. I also have a house with a large fenced in yard in Overland Park, I live close to a few parks and the neighborhoods are great for walking. My dog and I spend a lot of time chilling on the couch and going on walks together, so whether your pup is lazy or energetic I’m sure they will fit right in. Also, I have no issues with animals on furniture, but if that’s something you don’t want I have plenty of dog beds that they can use instead. Kevin loves dogs of all shapes and sizes. I know he grew up with multiple dogs in his home (2 and recently now 3 I believe) and I know he also helped care for his housemate’s dog about a year and a half ago. He understands dogs need a lot of attention and exercise. I would definitely trust Kevin if I adopt a dog in the future.
For the 9 years I’ve known Kevin, I have known him to be an amazing caretaker and lover of all furry friends. He is a responsible, caring, kind person with a heart of gold, who absolutely adores dogs. He would treat any animal just as well as his own fur baby! I highly recommend Kevin to anyone and everyone who wants their dog to be left in the best care possible :)
Being on a team with Kevin showed me a lot of his demeanor, and seeing him living with roommates who owned both dogs and cats showed me how good he is with animals. He would gladly play with and take his roommates dog on a walk without being asked, and although he calls himself a dog person he would also stop and entertain his house cat whenever she was feeling playful. Overall great guy and great with animals!
Kevin is a great caretaker of dogs—all pets in fact! I know he’s had a range of pets to take care of including three dogs currently (one of which he has been with for the dog’s whole life!), to the more unusual pet like the boa snake. Every time he greets my dog he calls her “sweetie” and she immediately welcomes him with the vulnerable side of her belly because she knows she can trust him just based on his warm voice and inviting nature. Quite unusual for her 90 pound guard dog demeanor too! Kevin will take great care of your dog whether it’s a brisk walk, a long run (he’s training for a triathlon!), or a weekend in his cozy, gated apartment.

I love all breeds, growing up my parents had plenty of dogs including a Pitbull, two bulldogs, a German Shepherd, a cattle dog and a Black Mouth Cur. I'm especially fond of bigger dogs, but I like dogs of all sizes.
A typical day
I‘m a runner, so I'm more than happy to go on runs and keep your dogs healthy. If your dog is a bit slower paced, we can go on walks and I have a yard for them to exercise at their own pace.
