I'm an IT subcontractor and work almost exclusively from home, save for the occasional work site visit, which I would communicate to you weeks in advance of a dog sitting assignment to avoid any timing conflicts if you hire me. I have availability to watch/play with/walk/run with/feed etc. your dog while you're away. Whatever your dog needs really, just let me know and I can handle it. I have owned or been around dog(s) since I was ~10 years old, and have taken care of dogs: -Of all shapes and sizes (as small as Papillons and Shih-poos, medium sized dogs like King Charles Cavalier Spaniels and Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and huge dogs like St. Bernards) -With specific health needs (I used to have a diabetic dog which I had to give daily insulin shots to, I've cared for blind or nearly blind dogs with cataracts, I've cared for dogs with heart murmurs, etc.) -Of all ages (growing up my family bred King Charles Cavalier Spaniels, so I've taken care of dogs as young as newborn puppies, and have cared for really old dogs with failing health too) -Of all personality types (high maintenance dogs that constantly want to play, be pet, need to be walked frequently, or that have to be around humans at all times...low maintenance dogs that hardly require anything...skittish or unpredictable dogs...friendly and unfriendly dogs...etc.) I live in a townhouse with 2 floors and plenty of couches for your dog to stretch out on. The house also has a front yard and a fenced in back yard. I live with my girlfriend who is also a dog lover and helps me keep visiting dogs company/entertained.
