Pet care experience
I'm really looking forward to boarding your pets and caring for them as if they were my own. I grew up with both cats & dogs and have had two dogs in my adult life. The last one sadly passed away from cancer a few years ago. I live in walking distance to trails and downtown San Anselmo and like to get out there daily.

Kevin is amazing! He took such great care of our babies both of whom are rescues with abandonment and anxiety issues. He made sure they got lots of attention and exercise, and was just overall was amazing with them.
I left my fur baby for more than 2 weeks with Kevin, I had never left her anywhere for that long. I was able tor relax, and enjoy my trip because I knew Kevin was taking good care of her. He took her to the beach during a heat wave, and when her stomach was upset he took care of that too. I hope kevin is available next time I want/need to travel.
This is the second time that Kevin has looked after our dog. He is great at keeping us updated, sending photos and taking great care of him. We really appreciate Kevin taking our dog on adventures and making sure he kept cool in the heat. Highly recommend!

Please let me know of any special needs your dog has. And anything I can do to make his/her stay more pleasurable and less stressful. I live in an in law unit so the times I need to leave your dog unattended they need to be reasonably quiet. Incessant barking from anxiety is going to create stress between myself and my neighbors which I prefer not to have. Expecting that dogs are fully house trained. Additional charges might be required if property damage is done due to accidents.
A typical day
I live within walking distance of trails so your dog will get lots of exercise (and they can come with me on runs if they are capable). Also trips to downtown Fairfax and San Anselmo where he/she will get to meet lots of other dogs as well! Lots of play at Robson Park where dogs can run around off leash (I would need to build confidence in your dog's recall ability before allowing)

Besides dog boarding and day care I have a small online music store (mostly rare vinyl records and CD's) which requires a small amount of my time weekly (packing up orders and sending to post office). So your dog can either come with me on those trips or might need to be left alone for about 1-2 hours. I also like to run 4-5 times/week with my long runs being up to 90 minutes. If your dog is up for it I am happy to bring them along with me. Otherwise they will need to be left unattended and be reasonably quiet as I live in an inlaw unit very close to my landlady. Other than that I will be with your dog 24/7. They will have lots of love, attention and exercise.
