I am happy to send a testimonial for Kevin L on his ability to provide loving and responsible care for animals. Animals/pets (horses and dogs) have always been a big part of Kevin’s life. In addition to being a pet owner, he also has fostered dogs in the past. In fostering, he was able to connect with the animals and gain their trust that then enabled him to work with them to increase the likelihood of successful permanent adoptions. Kevin also helps friends with their dogs when the need arises. No one hesitates to leave their pets with Kevin because they know that the pets will be safe and well taken care of. Although I don’t have a dog, I have been with Kevin and his dog on road trips. He goes to great lengths to ensure that Parker is comfortable, safe, and considered in every decision. For example, he remembers which pet areas have better grass/surfaces for Parker to walk on. When he was unable to take Parker on a trip, he did extensive screening of boarding places to be sure that they were a good fit for Parker in terms of facilities and cleanliness, staffing, and daily routines/schedules. These things are important to Kevin for his dog and that translates to the responsibility he would show in the care for others’ pets. His compassion for animals doesn’t make him unique; however, his ability to not only talk the talk but also walk the walk does set him apart. Beyond being safety conscious and responsible, he truly enjoys his interactions with dogs. This is reflected in the way he lives his life and the time and energy he devotes to them.

Kevin is my friend and he is the only person I have trusted to take care of my dogs overnight. He has raised, trained, and shown dogs successfully as an amateur and has excellent dog handling skills.
